PTFE Flexible Tubing (Virgin PTFE, Extruded & Braided Options)

Kaxite PTFE flexible tubing is extruded from 100% virgin PTFE resin and supplied as a chemically inert, heat-resistant, low-friction flexible tube. It resists crimping and kinking better than rigid PTFE tube, works continuously from −200 °C to +260 °C (short-term peaks up to +300 °C), and is the preferred choice for chemical transfer, electrical insulation, pneumatic lines, laboratory and food-grade fluid handling. Standard bore: 3 mm to 28 mm, wall thickness 0.7 mm to 2 mm. Custom bore, wall, coil length and SS overbraid are available for OEM and bulk orders.

As a direct PTFE flexible tubing manufacturer in Ningbo, China, Kaxite supplies both off-the-shelf coils and custom-extruded runs. Buyers looking for a reliable PTFE tubing supplier use this page to check sizes, temperature and pressure performance, and to request a bulk quotation. If you need rigid profiles instead, see our PTFE Tube, PTFE Pipe and PTFE Hoses pages.

Why buyers choose Kaxite as their PTFE flexible tubing supplier

  • Direct factory extrusion — consistent inner diameter, concentric wall and smooth interior run after run, so flow resistance stays stable in your equipment.
  • Material traceability — virgin PTFE resin batch and extrusion parameters recorded for project documentation.
  • Full OEM / ODM support: custom bore, custom wall thickness, cut-to-length, coiled lengths, SS 304/316 overbraid and private-label marking.
  • One supplier for the full PTFE range — PTFE Tubes, PTFE Sheets, PTFE Rods, PTFE Hoses, PTFE Gaskets, PTFE Rings and PTFE Packings — simplifying sourcing, QC and shipping.
  • Engineer-to-engineer communication — send the media, working pressure and temperature, and we will recommend the correct bore, wall and braid option.

Types & Construction Options

PTFE flexible tubing white virgin PTFE extruded tube
Standard

Virgin PTFE Flexible Tubing

  • 100% virgin PTFE, extruded to a concentric, smooth-bore flexible tube.
  • Chemical inert, low friction, non-stick and non-toxic — suitable for food and pharmaceutical contact.
  • Best electrical insulation of any flexible plastic tubing.

High Pressure

SS Overbraided PTFE Flexible Tubing

  • SS 304 / 316 stainless steel braid over the PTFE core for higher burst pressure.
  • Used in hydraulic, chemical transfer and steam lines that need flexibility plus pressure resistance.
  • Available with or without end fittings — please provide a drawing.

Prime Features

  • Wider temperature range: works up to +260 °C continuously, with a short-term peak of +300 °C; remains flexible at cryogenic temperatures down to −200 °C.
  • Superior electrical performance: very high concentricity, a critical parameter for insulation and dielectric applications.
  • Burst pressure: lower wall thickness can be selected for cost saving when pressure demands allow; SS overbraid available for high-pressure lines.
  • Abrasion resistance and flex: long flex life reduces downtime and replacement cost in vibrating or moving equipment.
  • Smooth internals: perfectly smooth bore allows easy insertion of members and low flow resistance, thanks to the low coefficient of friction of PTFE.
  • Chemical resistance: inert to almost all acids, bases and solvents — a reliable barrier in aggressive media.
  • Non-toxic and chemically inert: suitable for food, beverage and pharmaceutical contact applications.

Typical Applications

  • Chemical transfer and dosing lines — acids, bases, solvents
  • Electrical and electronic insulation sleeving
  • Pneumatic and instrumentation lines
  • Laboratory and analytical equipment
  • Food, beverage and pharmaceutical fluid handling
  • Hydraulic and high-pressure lines (SS overbraid)
  • Semiconductor and clean-process fluid lines
  • Custom flexible PTFE hose assemblies to drawing

FAQ

What is the difference between PTFE flexible tubing and rigid PTFE tube?
Flexible tubing is extruded to bend and route around equipment without kinking, and is supplied in coils or cut lengths. Rigid PTFE tube is used where a straight, self-supporting run or a machined profile is required. For chemical transfer, pneumatic lines and insulation sleeving, flexible tubing is usually preferred. See our PTFE Tube page for rigid options.
What bore sizes and wall thicknesses are available?
Standard bore range is 3 mm to 28 mm with wall thickness 0.7 mm to 2 mm. Custom bore, wall thickness and coil lengths can be produced on request. Send us the exact ID, OD or drawing and we will confirm what is available.
What temperature can PTFE flexible tubing withstand?
Continuous service range is −200 °C to +260 °C, with short-term peaks up to +300 °C. PTFE also stays flexible at cryogenic temperatures, which is why it is used in low-temperature and cryogenic lines.
Can PTFE flexible tubing be used for food and pharmaceutical contact?
Yes. Virgin PTFE is non-toxic and chemically inert, making it suitable for food, beverage and pharmaceutical fluid handling. Please specify the application in your inquiry so we can confirm the correct grade and documentation.
Do you offer SS overbraided PTFE flexible tubing?
Yes. SS 304 and SS 316 overbraid are available for higher burst pressure and additional mechanical protection, typically used in hydraulic, chemical transfer and steam lines. Send the drawing or pressure requirement and we will confirm the construction.
Do you provide material certificates and inspection reports?
Material certificates and inspection reports can be provided for production orders. Please specify the required documentation in your inquiry so we can confirm what is available for your order.
Can I get a sample before placing a bulk order?
Yes. Samples are available for evaluation. Please provide the bore, wall thickness, coil length or drawing you need, and we will confirm sample availability and delivery time.
What is your typical lead time?
Lead time depends on bore, wall thickness, coil length, quantity and whether SS overbraid or end fittings are required. Standard sizes and stock coils are generally faster; custom extrusion and braided assemblies may require longer production time. Please confirm with our team when requesting a quotation.
