Kaxite PTFE Filter Bags are fabricated from a 100% expanded PTFE (ePTFE) microporous membrane laminated onto a superior quality support fabric — Polypropylene, Non-Woven, PET or PE Non-Woven. The membrane traps particulate on the surface of the bag instead of allowing it to penetrate the fabric, which is what makes surface filtration different from depth filtration and what lets the bag house run at higher air flow with lower pressure drop. Operating temperature range is −210 °C to +265 °C, with a chemical resistance range of pH 0–14 — acid and corrosion resistant and suitable for high-humidity environments. The membrane is breathable, has a homogeneous pore size distribution, and delivers both high collection efficiency and stable air permeability. It is non-aging under normal operating conditions and does not contaminate the media it filters. Typical applications include cement, coke, bitumen, steel, metallurgy, nonferrous metal, firepower electricity generation and other coal-powered dust removal fields; the same media is also used in chemistry, food stuff processing, electronics and mechanics.
