Kaxite Expanded PTFE Joint Sealant Tapes are Form-In-Place gasket materials made from 100% expanded PTFE with a self-adhesive strip on one face. The material contains no fillers and no binders, so it has the same chemical inertness as pure virgin PTFE — inert across pH 0–14 to almost all industrial fluids, with a service temperature range of −240 °C to +260 °C continuous. The tape conforms to rough, pitted, scratched and damaged flange surfaces, as well as glass-lined, enamel and irregular sealing surfaces, that a pre-cut gasket cannot bridge. The self-adhesive backing holds the tape in position on both horizontal and vertical flanges; the two ends cross to form a complete sealing ring in place. The material has unlimited shelf life, shows no age deterioration, and resists creep and cold flow. Supplied as rolls and spools; custom width and thickness on request. Samples are available for evaluation before bulk orders.
Kaxite Expanded PTFE Joint Sealant Tape is a Form-In-Place gasket material made from 100% expanded PTFE with a self-adhesive strip on one face. Because the material is 100% pure PTFE with no fillers and no binders, it has the same chemical inertness as pure virgin PTFE — inert across pH 0–14 to almost all industrial fluids, with a service temperature range of −240 °C to +260 °C continuous. The tape conforms to rough, pitted, scratched and damaged flange faces, as well as glass-lined, enamel and irregular sealing surfaces, that a pre-cut gasket cannot bridge. The peel-off backing holds the tape in position on both horizontal and vertical flanges; the two ends cross to form a complete sealing ring in place. The material has unlimited shelf life, shows no age deterioration, and resists creep and cold flow. Supplied as rolls and spools; custom width and thickness on request. Kaxite Expanded PTFE Sheet is made from 100% expanded PTFE through a proprietary process that produces a uniform, highly fibrillated microstructure with fibers running in multiple directions. That structure makes the sheet soft and pliable yet tough, and gives it the ability to conform to rough, pitted, scratched and damaged flange surfaces — as well as glass-lined and enamel flanges — that a rigid PTFE gasket cannot seal. The material is inert to almost all common chemicals across pH 0–14, with two exceptions: molten alkali metals and fluorine in liquid or gas states. Service temperature range is −450 °F to +500 °F continuous, with a short-term peak up to +600 °F. The sheet is free from asbestos and lung-intruding materials, meets FDA requirements, is non-toxic and non-contaminating, and can be stored without time limits. It resists creep and cold flow, seals at low compressive load, and is easy to cut and install. Suitable for corrosive fluid, acid, alkali, solvent, waste liquid and oil service. Samples are available for evaluation before bulk orders.
Kaxite Expanded PTFE Tape is a Form-In-Place joint sealant tape made from 100% expanded PTFE with a self-adhesive strip on one face. Because the material conforms to the flange surface under bolt load, it seals rough, pitted, scratched and damaged flange faces, as well as glass-lined and enamel flanges and unusual geometry that a pre-cut gasket cannot bridge. The tape contains no fillers and no binders, so it has the same chemical inertness as pure virgin PTFE — inert across pH 0–14 and stable from −200 °C to +260 °C. The peel-off backing lets the tape stick to both horizontal and vertical flange faces; the two ends cross to form a complete sealing ring in position. The material has an unlimited shelf life, shows no age deterioration and resists creep and cold flow. Suitable for almost all fluids where corrosion and pressure resistance are required — chemical processing, steam and water systems, pharmaceutical and food service, pulp and paper, power and general industrial lines. Supplied as rolls or spools; custom widths and thicknesses on request. Samples are available for evaluation before bulk orders.
Kaxite PTFE Packing is a braided gland packing made from 100% pure PTFE yarn with no lubricant, no graphite and no additives. Because the yarn contains nothing that can be released into the process, the packing is non-toxic and non-marking — the standard choice for food, sugar and chocolate processing, pharmaceutical, specialty chemical and fine paper service. Service temperature range is −150 °C to +260 °C and the material is inert across pH 0–14. Pressure rating is 15 bar rotating, 100 bar reciprocating and 150 bar static, with a maximum shaft speed of 2 m/s and a density of 1.3 g/cm³. The braided construction resists compression set and holds its sealing geometry over long running periods, with minimal shaft wear because the packing is softer than the shaft metal and self-lubricating. Supplied in spools or as pre-formed rings to stuffing box dimensions. Samples are available for evaluation before bulk orders.
Kaxite PTFE Piston Rings are machined from pure PTFE, filled PTFE (carbon, graphite, glass, bronze) or pure PEEK, and are supplied to cylinder bore diameter and customer specification. The ring operates without external lubrication — it is self-lubricating and does not contaminate the process media with oil carry-over. It resists chemical attack across pH 0–14, conforms to non-round cylinder surfaces, and reduces bore wear because it is softer than metal and does not gall or score the running surface. Service temperature range for PTFE grades is −200 °C to +260 °C. Filled grades improve creep resistance and thermal conductivity, making them the standard choice for dry-running compressor service; pure PEEK is available for very high PV applications. Rider, wearing and guide rings are supplied in the same material range. Custom diameters, radial sections, axial thicknesses and gap types (butt-cut, step-cut, angle-cut) are available to drawing. Samples are available for evaluation before bulk orders.
