Kaxite PTFE Sealant Tape is an industrial-grade thread sealant engineered for joints that must hold a leak-tight seal under real industrial conditions — natural gas and LPG distribution, LNG transfer, hydrogen service, chemical processing and petrochemical systems. Where standard water-plumbing tape is 0.25-0.4 g/cm³, this tape is 0.8-1.5 g/cm³ — three to five times denser — and carries the gas and drinking-water certifications that standard tape cannot.
Manufactured in Ningbo, China by Kaxite Sealing. Certified to DVGW, AGA, BS EN 751-3, EN 751-2, FDA 21 CFR 177.1550, NSF-61, WRAS, RoHS and REACH. OEM/ODM private-label packaging supported.
Thin, soft, low-density. The everyday water pipe tape found in hardware stores. Adequate for domestic plumbing and low-pressure fluid service, but it shreds on sharp or stainless threads and does not hold pressure at industrial levels.
Thicker, firmer, denser. Resists shredding on stainless and galvanised threads, holds a stable seal under industrial pressure, and passes the gas, drinking-water and food certifications that standard tape cannot.
